The client & their objectives

In July 2023, we started to work with the game-changing prop firm with 4.5+ ratings on Trustpilot and ambitious offers:

  • Very good trading market conditions.
  • The support is super quick and reliable.
  • The dashboard is easy to understand.
  • Lowest cost one-stage evaluation with simple rules.

Four months of advertising with a previous team did not bring the expected results. It was necessary to improve the payback for advertising and only then increase the expenses. 

  • Monthly budget at the beginning — $5k.
  • Monthly budget at the end of collaboration — $20k.
Our tasks
Set up correct conversion value tracking.
Set up audience segments for targeting.
Set up advertising campaigns for different regions of the world.

How we achieved that

At the account level:

  • Ensured correct tracking of the conversion value. 
  • Set up audience collection and created various signals for tests in PMax.
  • Developed attractive extensions in the account (callout, site links, structured snippets).

Search campaigns

  • Launched search campaigns in different regions.
  • Collected the semantic core.
  • Tested exact, phrase, and broad matches of keywords.
  • Tested the campaign using competitors’ keywords.
  • Ensured control over search queries. 

PMax

We paid a lot of attention to the Performance Max campaigns because they brought the most stable results.

  • Created separate campaigns for remarketing and cold audiences. 
  • Regularly tested different signals and banners to maximize results.
  • Optimized budget allocation and bid strategies. 

Remarketing Discovery campaigns 

  • At the start of the work, we set up remarketing Discovery campaigns for different regions. 
  • Combined all remarketing in one campaign for the world.

Our results

Initially, we set the correct conversion value tracking. It is critical for Performance Max campaigns, as it shows appropriate optimization of the conversion value.

In this stage, we worked on increasing ROAS and decreasing CPA.

First 3 month results during the period 07/01/2023-09/30/2023 compared to 04/01/2023-06/30/2023

CPA decreased by 53%

ROAS — exceeded 500% 

Set objectives were achieved in the first two months and stabilized in the third month. As a result, facing the challenge of increasing our spending, we launched many tests to upscale results.

We have set up a large number of campaigns divided by geo-targeting and advertising campaigns for multiple world regions. Each month, our team started new asset groups in PMax campaigns to test different segments of audiences. The task was complicated by the additional demand from the client to stop working with two high-traffic donor regions. It shrank the total possible amount of traffic that we can work with.

Within three months:

Expenses — increased from $9000 to $20,000+. 

CPA — increased from 35$ to 59$ (the highest CPA with more expenses stayed lower than it was when we started)

In summary:

  • Budget grew x5
  • Conversion price has been halved
  • The number of conversions increased 10 times

Before

Advertising performance before starting cooperation with us (June 2023):

  • CPA — $137
  • Total number of conversions — 33
  • Budget spent — $4,52K

After

Advertising performance on the last month of our cooperation:

  • CPA — $59
  • Total number of conversions — 349
  • Budget spent — $20,8K
